Dan + Shay’s hit single “Tequila” will reach #1 on this week’s Mediabase country radio singles chart.

The single, which was #3 last week, maintains a comfortable lead on the building/real-time chart for the June 24-30 tracking period. Barring a highly unlikely eleventh-hour collapse, it will maintain its #1 ranking through the close of tracking.

The official chart will be published Sunday.

“Tequila” will seize the throne from Morgan Wallen’s “Up Down (featuring Florida Georgia Line).” That song may fall to #4 after a single week on top.

Kenny Chesney’s “Get Along” will move into the runner-up spot this week, while Jake Owen’s “I Was Jack (You Were Diane)” may jump to #3.

“Tequila” will follow “Nothin’ Like You,” “From The Ground Up,” and “How Not To” in becoming Dan + Shay’s fourth country radio #1.
