Making good on the mid-week projection, George Ezra’s “Shotgun” shoots to #1 on this week’s Official UK Singles Chart.

The song, which was #2 last week, seizes the throne from Clean Bandit’s “Solo (featuring Demi Lovato).” That song dips to #2 this week.

Anne-Marie’s “2002” holds at #3, while Jess Glynne’s “I’ll Be There” spends another week at #4.

Up twenty-six places, the late XXXTentacion’s “SAD!” reaches a new peak of #5.

Other notables in this week’s Top 40:
— Jonas Blue’s “Rise (featuring Jack & Jack)” rises five places to #12.
— XXXTentacion’s “Moonlight” jumps fifteen spots to #17.

— Dennis Lloyd’s “Nevermind” ascends eight spots to #39.
