Drake’s “Scorpion” Reaches #1 On US iTunes Sales Chart, Florence + Machine, Gorillaz In Top 3

While it did not get there immediately upon launch, it did get there fairly quickly.

Drake’s new double-album “Scorpion” is #1 on the US iTunes sales chart as of press time at 1:35AM ET Friday.

“High As Hope,” a fellow newcomer from Florence + The Machine, currently sits at #2. “High As Hope” enjoyed a brief stint at #1 prior to the ascent of “Scorpion.”

Gorillaz’ new “The Now Now” follows at #3, while Panic! At The Disco’s “Pray For The Wicked” (#4) and The Carters’ “Everything Is Love” (#5) complete the Top 5.

Bullet For My Valentine’s new “Gravity” (#6), the enduring “The Greatest Showman” soundtrack (#7), Guns N’ Roses’ new super deluxe edition of “Appetite For Destruction” (#8), Dan + Shay’s “Dan + Shay” (#9) and Dave Matthews Band’s “Come Tomorrow” (#10) complete the Top 10.
