Backstreet Boys’ “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” and Belly’s “What You Want (featuring The Weeknd)” just won support from the leading American pop radio station.

New York’s Z100, that station, added the songs to its playlist in conjunction with the June 26 add board.

As of press time, those are the only two adds for the week.

“Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” is approaching the Top 20 at pop radio; it is an even bigger hit at hot adult contemporary.

Established at rhythmic radio, “What You Want” is just now beginning to receive attention at pop.
