The second season finale of “Westworld” actually drew fewer live+same-day viewers than the previous episode.

According to live+same-day data from Showbuzz, Sunday’s “Westworld” drew a 0.56 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.559 million overall viewers.

The numbers narrowly trail the 0.61 rating and 1.564 million viewer mark posted by the season’s penultimate episode. The numbers also come in slightly below the show’s season two average.

That second season average, it should be noted, trails the first season average.

Overall interest, however, remained quite strong. The show still generated ample buzz and still attracted considerable attention on the streaming, on-demand and encore fronts. On the strength of that interest, “Westworld” will be back for season three.
