On the heels of a high-profile performance, Calum Scott & Leona Lewis’ “You Are The Reason” made a huge jump on the US iTunes sales chart.

The song, which was not even in the Top 100 as of Wednesday morning, had blasted into the Top 15 by the afternoon. It occupies the #13 position as of press time at 4:20PM ET.

The two artists performed “You Are The Reason” on Wednesday’s edition of “Good Morning America.”

While a “GMA” performance does not guarantee a big sales bump, it draws enough of an audience to send particularly compelling numbers soaring up the charts. Adult contemporary-leaning songs — think Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song,” which gained considerable momentum thanks to “GMA” — tend to resonate best with the audience.
