While Kacey Musgraves’ 2018 album “Golden Hour” has garnered rave reviews from critics, its tracks have not amassed much support at her core country format.

MCA Nashville is not, however, completely forfeiting the radio game. Musgraves’ label home intends to push one of the album’s most popular tracks to the hot adult contemporary radio format.

“High Horse,” that song, is slated to impact Hot AC in conjunction with the June 25 add board. AllAccess first reported the impact date.

The pop-leaning, disco-inspired “High Horse” has served as a centerpiece of Musgraves’ album campaign. The track was first released as an “instant gratification” track prior to the album’s official release. Musgraves subsequently performed the song on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “Saturday Night Live.”
