Maroon 5 released a new version of “Girls Like You” late Wednesday/early Thursday.

The remix, which features Cardi B, had reached #1 on the US iTunes sales chart by Thursday evening. It remains in that pinnacle position as of 9PM ET.

In addition to releasing the audio for the new version of “Girls Like You,” Maroon 5 shared the official music video. The star-studded video, which features a myriad of high-profile women, generated a considerable amount of buzz Thursday.

That buzz also drove interest in the original version of the song. That track, which appears on Maroon 5’s 2017 album “Red Pill Blues,” is currently #6 on iTunes.
