The epitome of a multi-format hit, Imagine Dragons’ “Whatever It Takes” sits in the top three on this week’s Mediabase alternative, pop and hot adult contemporary radio charts.

It occupies the #1 position on the Hot AC listing.

“Whatever It Takes,” which was #2 last week, earns #1 on the strength of its 6,658 tracking period plays. This week’s count tops last week’s mark by 145.

“Whatever It Takes” seizes the throne from Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle,” which falls to #2 on this week’s chart. The hit collaboration received 6,614 spins during the May 20-26 tracking week (-242).

Hot adult contemporary is the second format at which “Whatever It Takes” hit #1. It ruled the alternative listing earlier this year.

As for this week’s Hot AC chart, Camila Cabello’s “Never Be The Same” rises two spots to #3. It posted a tracking period play count of 5,562 (+355).

Maroon 5’s “Wait” holds at #4 with 5,412 spins (+60), while a spin count of 5,304 (-515) brings Bebe Rexha’s “Meant To Be (featuring Florida Georgia Line)” down two spots to #5.
