Post Malone’s “Psycho,” Maroon 5’s “Wait” Headed For Top 5 At Pop Radio

“Psycho” and “Wait” are on track to reach the Top 5 on this week’s pop chart.

Last week, Post Malone’s “Psycho (featuring Ty Dolla $ign)” entered the Top 10 at pop radio.

This week, it will move into the Top 5.

Maroon 5’s “Wait” should also enter that region of the chart.

“Psycho” received 10,361 spins during the first six days of the May 20-26 tracking period. Up a whopping 19.0% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Psycho” at #4 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Facing no imminent threat from below, “Psycho” should have no trouble retaining its position through the close of tracking.

“Wait,” which received 10,158 spins during that six-day window, is currently #5 on the building chart. The figure tops the same-time-last-week mark by 4.3%.

While Bazzi’s building #6 “Mine” (9,975 spins, +10.6%) is gaining at a faster pace, it will have a difficult time closing the gap before the end of tracking. As such, “Wait” should be able to secure its Top 5 position.
