Initial sales and consumption projections have finally emerged for Arctic Monkeys’ new album “Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.”

According to Hits Daily Double, the album is expected to sell 29-32,000 pure US copies this week.

The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) should yield an opening week consumption total in the 40-44,000 unit range.

The pure sales total may be enough for a Top 5 debut on the Billboard Top Album Sales chart. The consumption tally should notch “Tranquility Base” a Top 10 position on Billboard 200 consumption chart.

“Tranquility Base” is the follow-up to Arctic Monkeys’ “AM.” Released in 2013, the album debuted with 42,000 pure US copies.
