For months, fans have been wondering when Sam Hunt would release the follow-up to his record-breaking, multi-format smash “Body Like A Back Road.”

Label MCA Nashville has finally provided an answer.

The label’s radio team announced that Sam Hunt’s new single “Downtown’s Dead” will be issued to radio at 6AM ET on Wednesday, May 16.

It will presumably launch on digital services at or around that same time.

Released in February 2017, the aforementioned “Body Like A Back Road” ended up spending a record thirty-four weeks atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart.
