As it marches toward a second week atop the country radio chart, Jason Aldean’s “You Make It Easy” picks up a certification from the RIAA.

The single has officially attained gold status in the United States.

The award confirms at least 500,000 in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“You Make It Easy” was released earlier this year as the lead single from Aldean’s “Rearview Town.” That album recently debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.

To date, “You Make It Easy” has peaked at #28 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. It has gone as high as #2 on Billboard Hot Country Songs.
