From looking at Friday’s US Spotify chart, you already knew J. Cole’s “KOD” was a streaming monster.

You may not have known exactly how monstrous it was.

Apple Music and Spotify have confirmed that it set the opening day US streaming records on their services.

“KOD” generated a whopping 64.5 million first-day US streams on Apple Music. Spotify, meanwhile, reports a record 36,656,086 in first-day US streams.

That means that “KOD” generated more than 100 million opening day audio streams on those two services alone.

With sales also trending well (specific projections are not yet available), “KOD” is a lock for #1 on this week’s Billboard 200.
