CBS’ 2018-19 television roster continues to take shape.

The network has officially renewed “Mom” for the coming season, which will mark its sixth cycle on the air.

“Mom” joins the already-renewed “The Big Bang Theory,” “Young Sheldon,” and “SWAT” on next year’s roster. Additional renewals will be announced in the coming weeks.

“MOM has been a lynchpin comedy for us over the last several years,” said Kelly Kahl of CBS. “It’s a fearless series that tackles provocative social issues with laughter and grace, and a large, loyal audience has followed. With gifted talents like Anna and Allison leading a great ensemble cast, and a production team headed by Chuck Lorre, Eddie Gorodetsky, Nick Bakay and Gemma Baker, this series just keeps getting better.”

“Mom” remains a solid ratings performer, ranking as TV’s third-most-watched comedy behind only “TBBT” and “Young Sheldon.”
