Dua Lipa’s global sensation “New Rules” just attained multi-platinum status in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “New Rules” officially went double platinum on March 28, 2018.

The award confirms 2 million in US units; each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

In attaining 2x platinum status, “New Rules” becomes Dua Lipa’s first multi-platinum hit in the US. She also holds a platinum certification for “Scared To Be Lonely,” her collaboration with Martin Garrix.

“New Rules” peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It hit #1 at the pop radio format.
