Cardi B’s new song “Be Careful” officially premiered Friday, and rhythmic and urban radio stations wasted no time showing support.

According to Mediabase, New York’s Hot 97 was the top supporter at rhythmic radio. The iconic station had played “Be Careful” 14 times by the end of Friday.

Other key rhythmic supporters included Boston’s JAM’N 94.5 (10 spins), Birmingham’s 95.7 Jamz (7 spins), Minneapolis/St. Paul’s Go 95.3 (7 spins), Portland’s We 96.3 (6 spins), Columbus’ Power 107.5 (6 spins) and Hartford’s Hot 93.7 (6 spins).

Numerous other rhythmic stations offered between 1 and 5 spins Friday.

Each responsible for 8 spins, New York’s Power 105.1 and Charlotte’s 92.7 The Block led the way at urban radio.

Other top urban supporters included Los Angeles’ Real 92.3 (7 spins), Greenville/New Bern’s 101.9 Kiss (6 spins), Raleigh’s K97.5 (6 spins) and Indianapolis’ Hot 96.3 (6 spins).

“Be Careful” is also faring well on the US iTunes store, where it currently ranks as the #1 song. Spotify has not yet released chart data for Friday, but it presumably attracted interest there as well.
