MAX’s “Lights Down Low (featuring gnash)” has already reached #1 on the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart.

Barring a late-week slowdown, it should do the same on this coming week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary chart.

“Lights Down Low” received 3,622 spins during the first four days of the March 25-31 tracking period. Up 5.4% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Lights Down Low” at #1 on the listing.

Because “Lights Down Low” does not maintain a massive lead over Ed Sheeran’s building #2 “Perfect” (3,587 spins during the first four days), its ticket to #1 is not completely punched.

It does, however, have the clear momentum advantage. Whereas “Lights Down Low” is up 5.4% from this point last week, “Perfect” is only ahead by 0.4%.

If they remain on similar trajectories, “Lights Down Low” will secure its victory as the chart goes final.
