Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle” Headed For #1 At Pop Radio

“The Middle” should reach #1 on this week’s pop radio airplay chart.

Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle” is headed for the top of this week’s pop radio airplay chart.

The collaboration received 7,064 spins during the first three days of the March 25-31 tracking period. Up 13.7% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “The Middle” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

While Bruno Mars & Cardi B’s building #2 “Finesse” only trails by 70 spins, “The Middle” has the clear momentum advantage. It is up 13.7% from last week, while “Finesse” is up 3.5%.

Assuming those trajectories hold, “The Middle” will be able to widen its lead as the chart goes final. No other threats are in play.

Should “The Middle” hit #1, it will become the first pop chart-topper for both Maren Morris and Grey. It will follow “Stay” as Zedd’s second.
