Fetty Wap’s “Trap Queen” Hits 7x Platinum In US, “679” Certified 5x Platinum

Fetty Wap received a myriad of new RIAA certifications on March 19.

The biggest certification went to his song “Trap Queen.” The breakthrough hit is now 7x platinum in the United States.

The award confirms 7 million in US units; each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Fetty Wap also received a big multi-platinum award — one of the 5x platinum variety — for his hit “679.” The award signifies at least 5 million units.

His other new song certifications are as follows:
— Again, 2x platinum (2 million)
— My Way, 2x platinum (2 million)
— RGF Island, platinum (1 million)
— Jugg, gold (500,000)

The hip-hop artist also received a double platinum certification for his self-titled album. The award signifies 2 million in US album units. Album units are equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.
