L+SD Ratings: “Assassination Of Gianni Versace” Increases For Finale

The “American Crime Story” finale posted week-over-week gains.

ACS: Versace | FX Networks

The ninth (and final) edition of “The Assassination Of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story” drew stronger live+same-day ratings than the eighth episode.

According to L+SD data posted by Showbuzz, Wednesday’s “Versace” drew a 0.32 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.20 million overall viewers.

The numbers top the 0.30 rating and 1.00 million viewer mark drawn by last week’s episode.

This week’s viewership figure, in fact, ranks as the show’s best since episode three on January 31.

In comparison to previous “ACS” installment “The People v. OJ Simpson” and fellow Ryan Murphy anthology series “American Horror Story,” the “Versace” ratings were decidedly modest.

The show did, however, post respectable numbers by typical cable standards. Strong DVR and multi-platform viewing greatly expanded that reach.
