“Everybody Hates Me” arrived on digital platforms — and at radio — late Thursday/early Friday.

Exactly one month ago, The Chainsmokers released a new single entitled “You Owe Me.”

Columbia’s promotional team formally issued the song to radio at 12AM ET on February 16, but the song did not generate much initial interest. With the pessimistic writing on the wall, the label never moved forward with a formal promotional push.

At 12AM ET on March 16, Columbia issued a new Chainsmokers song to mainstream radio. The hope is that it will prove more resonant with programmers.

Entitled “Everybody Hates Me,” the song was also made available on all major digital platforms.

“Everybody Hates Me” follows “Sick Boy” and “You Owe Me” as the duo’s third release of 2018. Spotify has them bundled together as the “Sick Boy…EveryBody Hates Me” mini-album.
