As Charlie Puth looks toward the future release of his sophomore album “Voicenotes,” he receives good news regarding a song from his debut “Nine Track Mind.”

“One Call Away,” that song, just earned a new multi-platinum certification in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “Call” went triple platinum on February 9, 2018.

The award confirms 3 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Call” now ties “We Don’t Talk Anymore (featuring Selena Gomez)” as Puth’s second-most certified single in the United States.

The top honor belongs to Wiz Khalifa’s “See You Again (featuring Charlie Puth),” which is 9x platinum.
