Travis Scott’s “Butterfly Effect” Earns Double Platinum Award In US

“Butterfly Effect” has officially attained multi-platinum status.

Travi$ Scott’s 2017 hit “Butterfly Effect” is now a multi-platinum single in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “Butterfly Effect” reached double platinum on January 25, 2018.

The award confirms 2 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“Butterfly Effect” peaked at #51 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also reached the Top 20 on Billboard’s Rhythmic Songs airplay chart.

It becomes Scott’s fourth multi-platinum single. He also holds 3x platinum honors for “Antidote” and “Goosebumps” and a 2x platinum certification for his Young Thug collaboration “Pick Up The Phone.”
