Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes” Earns Gold Certification In United States

The rising star receives her first RIAA certification.

Critically acclaimed artist Billie Eilish has received her first song certification in the United States.

According to the RIAA, Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes” officially went gold on January 25, 2018.

The certification confirms 500,000 in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Eilish, who frequently appears on “Artist To Watch” breakdowns, was selected as the Apple Music Up Next artist in the late summer/early fall of 2017.

As part of the campaign, she performed “Ocean Eyes” on a September edition of “The Late Late Show With James Corden.”
