Zedd, Maren Morris & Grey’s “The Middle” was undoubtedly going to generate a healthy amount of consumption activity during its first full week in the market.

High-profile exposure during the January 28 Grammy Awards compounded that interest.

As a result, “The Middle” debuts prominently on this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

It takes #23 on the chart.

The collaboration fared well in sales, streaming and radio airplay — the three components of the Hot 100 chart.

It instantly becomes Maren Morris’ highest-charting entry on the Hot 100.

“The Middle” was a subject of a ~4-minute Target commercial that aired during the aforementioned Grammy Awards telecast.
