Alice Merton’s multi-format radio breakthrough “No Roots” climbs to a new high on this week’s Mediabase hot adult contemporary chart.

Up one place, “No Roots” earns #20 on this week’s listing.

The song received 1,348 spins during the January 28-February 3 tracking period, besting last week’s mark by 53 spins.

— “No Roots” also makes gains at other radio formats this week.

It rises to a new peak of #2 on the alternative chart, while continuing its march toward the Top 40 at pop radio. The song also remains inside the Top 5 at Triple A radio, where it recently spent time at #1.

Hoping to increase the song’s momentum, Merton will perform on the February 8 “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
