The first of the “Big Four” trophies has been delivered at the 60th Grammy Awards ceremony.

It was the prize for Best New Artist, and it went to Canadian artist Alessia Cara.

Oddsmakers had Cara and SZA as co-favorites, so the victory is definitely not surprising.

In addition to Cara and SZA, the nominees included Julia Michaels, Khalid and Lil Uzi Vert.

Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year — the other “Big Four” awards — will be issued later tonight.
