The BPI just wrapped its weekly UK certifications announcement.

That announcement included news of new multi-platinum song certifications for Bruno Mars, Labrinth, James Bay and Christina Perri.

Mars picked up a double-platinum award for “Grenade.” Labrinth went 2x platinum with “Beneath Your Beautiful (featuring Emeli Sande),” while Bay scored a double-platinum honor for “Let It Go.”

“A Thousand Years,” Perri’s “Twilight” smash, also crossed the 2x platinum threshold.

A double-platinum certification confirms at least 1.2 million in UK units.

“Grenade” and “Beneath Your Beautiful” both hit #1 on the UK Singles Chart. “Let It Go” peaked at #10, while “A Thousand Years” went as high as #11.
