In amassing 4,326,679 million US streams on January 22, Drake’s “God’s Plan” broke the single-day streaming record on US Spotify.

On January 24, it broke that record.

The new single — which has a shot at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 — drove 4,708,015 streams on Wednesday.

The impressive count nearly quadruples that of the day’s #2 song.

That song, interestingly, was Drake’s own “Diplomatic Immunity.” It drove 1,216,409 streams Wednesday.

In addition to breaking the US Spotify record, “God’s Plan” broke the opening day global Apple Music record this week. Apple Music DJ Zane Lowe confirms “God’s Plan” amassed over 14 million streams on its first day.
