Ratings: “Black Lightning” Falls In Week Two, “The Flash” Also Drops

“Black Lightning” dropped from last week’s premiere.

The CW’s “Black Lightning” was not immune to the post-premiere drop that plagues almost every new series.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Tuesday’s “Black Lightning” drew a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 1.94 million overall viewers.

Last week’s premiere posted a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 2.31 million viewers.

While the drop is certainly not cause for celebration, the numbers are still strong by The CW standards.

It is also worth noting that lead-in “The Flash” was also down this week. Its 0.7 adults 18-49 rating and 2.07 million viewer mark trail the 0.8 rating and 2.51 million viewer sum posted by the previous broadcast.
