Kane Brown’s first career country radio #1 is now his first career multi-platinum single.

Brown and label RCA Nashville have announced that “What Ifs (featuring Lauren Alaina)” has been certified double platinum in the United States.

Issued by the RIAA, the award confirms 2 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

“What Ifs” topped the Mediabase and Billboard country radio charts last year. It also reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, which ranks country songs based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay.

It peaked at #26 on the all-genre Hot 100.
