Liam Payne & Rita Ora’s “For You” Reaches #1 On UK iTunes Sales Chart

“For You” reached #1 Friday evening — and still holds the spot on Saturday.

“For You,” Liam Payne & Rita Ora’s contribution to the “Fifty Shades Freed” soundtrack, predictably made a big splash on the UK iTunes sales chart.

The song, which debuted late Thursday/early Friday, had reached #1 on the store’s all-genre listing by Friday evening.

It remains in that top spot as of press time at 8:09PM GMT Saturday night.

Eminem’s “River (featuring Ed Sheeran)” currently occupies the #2 position, while Craig David’s “I Know You (featuring Bastille)” is #3.

Ora’s recent solo hit “Anywhere” (#4) and Justin Timberlake’s new “Filthy” (#5) complete the Top 5.

— “For You” has also fared well on the US iTunes sales chart. It had reached the Top 5 by early Saturday — and remains inside the Top 10 as of this writing.
