Camila Cabello’s “Havana” Headed For Fifth Week As Pop Radio’s #1 Song

“Havana” will spend another week atop the Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.

This week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart will be issued on Christmas Eve.

It will contain good news for Camila Cabello, whose “Havana (featuring Young Thug)” will remain in the #1 position.

“Havana” received 13,689 spins during the first five days of the December 17-23 tracking period. Up 0.1% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Havana” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.

Currently #2 on the building chart, Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” is gaining at a faster pace (12,427, +8.4%). It will not, however, close the spin gap by the close of tracking.

“Havana” will therefore have no trouble cementing a fifth week as pop radio’s #1 song.

— As “Havana” extends its reign, follow-up single “Never Be The Same” is poised to make its first appearance on the chart. Credited with 909 spins during the first five days of the tracking period, “Never Be The Same” is #37 on the building chart. While airplay can become hard to predict around Christmas and New Year’s (due to holiday music and year-end countdowns), “Never Be The Same” should be able to retain its Top 40 position through the close of tracking.
