For the first time this season, a recording from “The Voice” earns a spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Chloe Kohanski’s cover of “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” debuts at #99 on this week’s edition of the chart.

Billboard’s Hot 100 ranks songs based on combined activity from sales, streams and radio airplay.

Kohanski’s recording generated the lion’s share of its activity on the sales front. Despite not launching until the latter half of the November 24-30 tracking period, “Total Eclipse Of The Heart” actually ranked as America’s sixth-best-selling song. It, accordingly, debuts at #6 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales subchart.

Among new releases, only BTS’ “MIC Drop (featuring Desiigner)” starts higher (#4).

Kohanski competes for Team Blake on season thirteen of “The Voice.” All of her available performances have generated ample sales interest on iTunes.
