Earlier this fall, Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” reached #1 on the Mediabase alternative airplay chart.
This week, it will reach the apex of the pop listing.
“Thunder” received 9,234 spins during the first four days of the November 12-18 tracking period. Up 10.6% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Thunder” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.
“Thunder” faces no imminent threat from below — and should thus have no trouble retaining its position through the close of tracking.
Should it indeed claim #1 on this week’s official chart (to be published on Sunday), “Thunder” will become Imagine Dragons’ second chart-topper at pop radio.
The band previously reached the pinnacle with “Demons.”
