FOX’s “The Orville” was down from last week’s timeslot high.

Last week’s “The Orville” rose to timeslot highs in adults 18-49 and overall viewership.

This week’s episode gave back the adults 18-49 gain and some of the viewership gain.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “The Orville” drew a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 3.76 million overall viewers.

The numbers trail the 1.2 rating and 4.18 million viewer mark drawn by last week’s episode.

They compare well to the October 12 edition, however. That episode drew the same 1.0 rating but only 3.37 million viewers.

“The Orville,” it should be noted, has already been renewed for season two.

— FOX led into “The Orville” with “Gotham,” which posted a 0.9 rating and 2.72 million in viewership this week. Last week’s edition drew a 0.9 and 2.86 million.
