Update: This Wednesday, the Houston Astros defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers to win the MLB World Series.

On the heels of his team’s victory, Astros second baseman Jose Altuve appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

Altuve participated in an interview on the broadcast.

Thursday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” features an appearance by a World Series champion.

Astros second baseman Jose Altuve visits “The Tonight Show” on the heels of Wednesday’s Game 7 victory.

Altuve joins host Jimmy Fallon for a chat during the broadcast.

Taped earlier in the day, the episode also features appearances by Alec Baldwin and the boys of “Stranger Things.” Elbow closes the show with a musical performance.
