In a rather unsurprising outcome, Niall Horan’s “Flicker” won the weekly US sales and consumption races.

According to Hits Daily Double and BuzzAngle, the One Direction member’s debut album sold approximately 125,986 pure US copies during the October 20-26 tracking week.

The inclusion of TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) yields a first-week consumption total of ~148,064 units.

Due Sunday, Billboard’s more authoritative data may differ slightly from that reported by Hits and BuzzAngle. The discrepancies will not, however, affect the overall outcome.

The pure sales total will be enough for #1 on Top Album Sales, while the consumption tally will yield a #1 bow on the Billboard 200.

Horan will follow ZAYN (“Mind Of Mine”) and Harry Styles (“Harry Styles”) in becoming the third One Direction original to debut at #1 with a solo album. Fellow 1D originals Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have yet to release their first albums outside the group.

This week’s pure sales leaders (via Hits/BuzzAngle):
Niall Horan – Flicker (125,986 pure US sales)

Brand New – Science Fiction (33,284 pure US sales)
Chris Young – Losing Sleep (32,506 pure US sales)
