“TNHMB” just picked up a double-platinum award in the United States.

Shawn Mendes’ former #1 pop and hot adult contemporary radio hit “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” has officially attained multi-platinum status in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “TNHMB” earned a double platinum certification on October 6, 2017.

The award confirms 2 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

In addition to topping the aforementioned radio charts, “TNHMB” reached a peak of #6 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“TNHMB” appears on the reissued version of Mendes’ sophomore album “Illuminate.”
