In the epitome of an unsurprising development, Disney Channel has ordered a second season of “Raven’s Home.”
“We are incredibly proud of our first season and the fact that Raven has returned home to Disney Channel in a very big way,” said Disney Channel’s Adam Bonnett. “The entire cast and crew have delivered a classic family sitcom that kids and families will be watching for many years to come.”
“Raven’s Home” does not draw mammoth live+same-day ratings, but it fares well from a competitive standpoint. It generally wins its timeslot (if not all of Friday night) in key youth demographics.
The show, moreover, receives big lifts from multi-platform/on-demand viewership.
Entitled “Dream Moms,” the twelfth episode of season one airs this Friday.
