FOX has ordered additional second season episodes of musical drama “STAR.”

According to a network press release, FOX picked up five additional installments of the series. The order increases the second season total to 18 episodes.

Entitled “FUA…Good Night,” the third episode airs this Wednesday.

“STAR” is clearly compatible with its “Empire” lead-in.

The September 27 premiere was the show’s #2 episode in live+same-day and live+7 viewership. Only the December 2016 series premiere fared better.
