J Balvin & Willy William’s “Mi Gente” remix, which features Beyonce, debuted late Thursday night.

By Friday morning, it had predictably soared to #1 on the US iTunes sales chart.

It sits in that position as of press time at 10:15AM ET.

Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder,” which had spent the past several days at #1, is now #2 on the listing. Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” (#3), Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” (#4) and Portugal. The Man’s “Feel It Still” (#5) complete the Top 5.

— It will be interesting to see how the remix affects the song’s overall trajectory. It actually was slowing at pop radio in the days leading up to the new release.
