The Killers’ “Wonderful Wonderful” Pacing For #1 With 105-110K Sales, 113-118K Total Units

Early projections have The Killers’ “Wonderful Wonderful” topping the US album charts. It would be the band’s first #1.

The Killers’ new album “Wonderful Wonderful” is headed for #1 on this week’s Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.

Based on opening day sales data, Hits Daily Double projects “Wonderful Wonderful” to sell 105-110,000 pure US copies this week.

With TEA (track sales/10) and SEA (track streams/1500) included, the album should generate 113-118,000 in first-week consumption units.

The former figure should be enough for a #1 bow on Top Album Sales. The consumption tally should earn the album a #1 debut on the Billboard 200.

Assuming the week goes as expected, “Wonderful Wonderful” will be The Killers’ first #1 album in the US. The band previously peaked at #2 with 2006’s “Sam’s Town.”

“Wonderful Wonderful” predecessor “Battle Born” debuted at #3 in 2012.
