The twelfth “America’s Got Talent” season finale aired Wednesday night.
The two-hour broadcast ended with the reveal that Darci Lynne had been crowned the winner.
Darci Lynne, a 12-year-old ventriloquist from Oklahoma, received news of her victory shortly after taking the stage with former winner (and fellow ventriloquist) Terry Fator.
Singer Angelica Hale placed second in this year’s competition, while Light Balance, Mandy Harvey and Sara & Hero respectively followed in third, fourth and fifth.
