As his new album “Life Changes” takes #1 on the Billboard 200, Thomas Rhett’s current radio single “Unforgettable” soars to a new high on the Billboard Hot 100.

Up twenty-six places, the song earns #47 on this week’s chart.

“Unforgettable” concurrently improves to #43 on the Radio Songs subchart.

Due largely to the “complete my album adjustment,” “Life Changes” falls off this week’s 50-track Digital Song Sales subchart**. It nonetheless posted a big week-over-week gain in raw sales, and in fact ranks as the Hot 100’s top digital gainer for the week.

**Editor’s Note: If someone who bought “Unforgettable” upgraded to the full album, they technically “returned” the single. This counts as a negative sale and is deducted from the weekly sales total.

The Digital Song Sales subchart ranks songs based on this adjusted sales figure, and “Unforgettable” did not generate enough “net” downloads to qualify.

The Hot 100, however, awards points based on raw sales/total new downloads. “Unforgettable” had a good week in that regard.
