Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried” Hits 5x Platinum; ZBB Also Scores Other New Certifications

The RIAA issued new awards to ten Zac Brown Band singles.

Ten of Zac Brown’s biggest hits just earned new platinum or multi-platinum certifications in the United States.

The biggest new certification went to “Chicken Fried.”

According to the RIAA, “Chicken Fried” attained 5x platinum status on September 5, 2017. The award signifies 5 million in US units; each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

The other new certifications – also issued on September 5 – are as follows:

Knee Deep (featuring Jimmy Buffett) – 3x platinum (3 million units)
Toes – 3x platinum (3 million)
Colder Weather – 2x platinum (2 million)
Whatever It Is – 2x platinum (2 million)
Goodbye In Her Eyes – platinum (1 million)
Highway 20 Ride – platinum (1 million)
Keep Me In Mind – platinum (1 million)
Free – platinum (1 million)
As She’s Walking Away (featuring Alan Jackson) – platinum (1 million)
