Presumably to accommodate his Emmy Awards preparation, “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” will not produce new episodes during the week of September 11.
It will return with original episodes the following week. The guests for one of those episodes have been revealed.
CBS announced that Hillary Clinton and Emma Stone will appear on the September 19 “Colbert.”
Clinton will be making her second “Colbert” appearance — and first late-night talk show visit since the 2016 presidential election.
Stone will be making her inaugural “Colbert” appearance.
