Adele’s “25” Receives 11x Platinum Certification In United States

The album, which went diamond last September, just improved to 11x platinum.

Adele’s Grammy-winning “25” just earned a new multi-platinum certification in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “25” received an 11x platinum award on August 22, 2017.

The certification confirms 11 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 album sale, 10 track sales or 1500 track streams.

“25” debuted with the greatest opening week US sales total on record. It spent several weeks atop the Billboard Top Album Sales and Billboard 200 charts.
