Hot 100: Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee & Justin Bieber’s “Despacito” Earns 14th Week At #1

“Despacito” spends a fourteenth week as America’s hottest song; Charlie Puth’s “Attention” enters the Top 5.

With DJ Khaled’s discount-driven “Wild Thoughts” making waves ahead of next week’s chart and the new Justin Bieber + BloodPop single “Friends” due to make a splash the following week, Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee’s “Despacito (featuring Bieber)” has some clear challenges on the horizon.

It did not face a meaningful threat this week — it predictably retains the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

This week’s stint at #1 is its fourteenth consecutive frame atop the chart.

It comes thanks to another week of strong sales, streaming and radio numbers.
